Learn to deal with pain in your relationship


Consider my line of thinking. It is almost certain that there will be pain at some point in your relationship. It may be slight, for example feeling a little lonely in your partners company, or it might become very painful, like facing the feeling of rejection or rejecting your partner.

To begin with, understand that pain is something that occurs normally in any intimate relationship. If you are experiencing the pain of loneliness or the pang of worrying with regards to  your beloved one, it is all right. There is no need to run form this feeling and no need to become involved in an affair or even end your relationship. Because in another relationship you will sooner or later find pain too.

Therefore, if you are able to allow the pains that appear in your relationship to be okay, if you do not run away or try to blame your partner for all the negative emotions, then you can grow through the pain and become more mature. Because any mature relationship will have its share of pain mixed with joy.
